MarketSpace Helps rue21 “Make its Move” with Intense Fragrance Launch

by MarketSpace, October 20th, 2011 in Branding, Signage

A strategic, memorable marketing mix is key to get noticed when promoting a fragrance – a segment where options are abundant. Recently retail brand rue21, a longtime client of MarketSpace, asked us to help launch its new fragrance for guys, called Intense.

The fragrance, encased in an indestructible rubber holder, is geared towards the popular, attractive, active and athletic man – “the guy every guy wants to be.”  With a tagline of “Make your move,” the fragrance communicates the idea that with this scent, you can make your move “fast,” “bold,” “out the door” or “on the court.”

MarketSpace created promotional signage including bag stuffers and a store-entry pedestal to help launch the fragrance. Users can “be the man” and take a photo with the life-size image and upload photos to the rue21 Facebook page for an interactive, fun, memorable brand experience that is sure to resonate with the targeted generation.
